This story's plot strains credibility. That said, it's interesting to see most of the public comments follow a worn pattern: "same thing", "writer's gay", and the trite classic "give up writing, don't do it anymore". How, sad. And typically, it gets worse. One comment maker writes so poorly it creates wonder about the ability to read. In respect to the story, as another noted, the writing isn't all that bad, actually.
