This chapter left me as 'down' as James apparently is and feeling deeply angry at the Reverend and his scheming clique of petty thinking 'little' people. While a strong character, James will need the love, understanding and strength of true friends (like Vicki and Ethan) to counter the venom of petty small town politics. Pete.
