Jess's understanding and willingness to show her shame in the tribal way was a great start for your story.

Theta's love and forgiveness was expected as well as them getting back together.

I found this series after reading one of your later stories (the 'other' Jess-I hope it was a true story). Excellent writing and story telling. Even though you wrote that you would not be continuing this series, I hope you reconsider.

I did find it curious that all the tribal members were named after the Greek alphabet...

Would love to know how life turned out

It doesn’t make sense that the marriage ceremony would take place a full year after the couples began to have sex. I would think that they would have married sooner, especially if any of them became pregnant. It would make more sense if the coming of age ceremony took place on the same date every year.
