Were you being served?

I found my enjoyment of the story was much enhanced by imagining Mrs Slocomb as Mrs B, and Miss Brahms as Louise! (This comment may mean nothing to non-UK readers. Sorry, but that's their loss.)

I beg to differ.

"Being Served" was a very big hit in the States on PBS for years. The wife and I watched it religiously.
