SAD!!!

While the sex in the 19 chapters was explicit and erotic, it was as if she was attempting to purge Tom?, her ex, from her memory and life. You did not indicate it but it may have left a deep void in her she attempted to fill for 15 years. She was no more than a "worldly punchboard". Does this character mirror you?
