Yep, the pace of this story is a bit too quick, especially with Rainer's transformation happening all at once like that. And Asmodea and Nerissa going from staring each other down to trading blows, then to swapping spit with Lauren so quickly? Yeah, a bit fast. How did Rainer get back into the bedroom after his transformation anyways? I'm pretty sure it said he went into the living room, had his transformation, then collapsed where he stood, fast asleep. Neither demon moved him, and Lauren didn't either.

Yeah, that whole bit is confusing. One second he's fast asleep after the transformation, next he's up and looking at Lauren who's in the window, and when Asmodea and Nerissa start talking to Lauren, Rainer somehow winds up back in the bedroom asleep again with no explanation as to how he got there.

Once again expressing hope that the later chapters are an improvement. I will keep reading.
