The Beatles' first concerts were in 1960 and they stopped performing in 1966! We know they're seeing Paul perform solo after wings broke up because the main character mentioned specifically that he saw wings in college and that they were now seeing Paul live. So in the earliest this could take place in 1989 when Paul had his first solo tour since wings broke up. But when could it be in the latest? Well we know she was 14 in 1966 latest right? She's now in her 40s meaning she's 49 maximum. Well, this story could take place only between 1989 and 2001. But Paul was only on 3 tours during this time. And in none of them was hello goodbye in the setlist. I rest my case
