This was who we were, who we were meant to be. This is the woman I was driven to be with. Before the Mbayo clinic. Before I began taking this crazy root, I wanted Audrey. She was, and had always been, the woman I longed to touch more than anything. I found myself fumbling with the car's ignition, my hands shaking uncontrollably.
The need was too powerful now. We only had to make it one more night until we could be together at the clinic. But was it worth it? Did it matter?

canndalmost 14 years agoI loved this chapter. The sex was obviously very hot. I loved how you had him do what he was told to...getting back to why he was with Audrey. Hopefully they can get back there. While I've never been through it, I am sure that is what having to go through fertility shit can do to a couple...the stress of it must be tough. Seems like one of the most effective parts of the treatment is him getting back to basics...But we've been seeing this all from his side though...will you be showing us what Audrey is thinking since their marriage will only work if she also remembers what it is she is missing? I look forward to the next chapter. Can't wait to see how it goes for them. I just think you need to show how she is feeling too.
