Quit while you're a (n air) head.

Round out your story a bit more. Get an editor to help with smoothing out your sentence structure.

I like the premise, just develop the conflict arc a bit more, throw in some redemption, we got a story.

Honestly, it was not the best story I ever read, nor was it the worst by a long shot...

But I have read some that I would have given a 5* rating (& I rarely give out 5's)... that other people absolutely hated. Conversely, there have been stories I hated, that others absolutely loved!

The point here is that you should not worry about your audience - write what you want! Other people will like it or not, but that is out of your control.

This story was boring, juvenile and very much ripped off from a zillion other stories. Nothing creative in the story at all. Snoozer!
