The time following this was blurry at best for Gabriel. He estimated he spent weeks with her and each encounter grew more voracious more intense until he simply lapsed into a long exhausted sleep and awoke feeling drained and alone. The building was empty, the women had apparently moved to Europe for a fashion season for an extended period. Gabriel felt he was slipping into madness and called me, his psychologist to help make sense of it. And while I have helped him relax somewhat he still lives in the apartment block waiting for her to return- he was sure Angel would return he knew somehow that Stacy and Angel were the same woman. He wanted her more than life itself.
