...I too was a shy, eighteen-year-old boy. Not as shy as you apparently were, as I'd had several girlfriends, but I didn't lose my virginity until the Spring of 1978, to the girl who would become my wife in December of that year.

So thanks for a beautiful and tender story, which brought those times to my mind. My only criticism is that the actual love-making was not described in as much detail as I would have preferred. After all of the build-up leading up to it, the actual sex was pretty vague and anticlimactic, almost like "Oh yeah, and then we had sex".

I just recently saw the movie Summer of 42 on Turner Classic Movies. The boy gets to have sex with beautiful Jennifer O'Neill. At the end of the movie, she moves away and he receives a letter. Your story is much hotter although I would have preferred that the woman not be so old.

I lost my virginity to my sisters college roommate- I was 15 and she was 21- the things she taught me during my 3 day visit to their campus in the fall off 1967- it was amazing and has carried me well all my life- she too recently passed and while there was no mustang, it was a sad day for me as she taught me so much in how to please a lady that I was forever grateful for
