"Now, now. No more tears." Allie said as he placed his arm around the soldier pulling him close to his strong chest and comforted him. "Unfortunately, there is a lot of truth in what Fazzi and I told you. Besides, I don't think there was anything anyone could have done to prevent his death. Eshalla, the will of Allah."
"What's wrong with me? Why am I crying like some stupid grieving asshole? I'm sorry for acting this way. I'm really not this way. The funeral, the speeches, this big empty house, I guess it all finally caught up with me. I have been trying to be the type of man he would have wanted me to be, but I still expect him to come home any minute now."
Allie placed his hand on the back of Joseph's head placing it on his broad shoulder as he pulled him closer his lips brushed Joseph's ear and kissing it he whispered, "I know being alone in this big house can be overpowering, would you like me to stay the night with you?"
