From the early part of the story it’s obvious that the couple aren’t in a D/s relevant, there’s a massive difference between an established D/s dynamic and a vanilla relationship where the couple have experimented a couple of times.

This would have been highly erotic IF they were clearly a D/s couple, as it stands she’s in way over her head and it makes him seem psychotic.
