Excellent story. I thought you really captured the emotions that churn beneath the surface of most relationships. There is so much we want, so much we expect, from SOMEONE ELSE - oh, what a heavy load of responsibility to lay on someone. Especially when we can already see their pain.

I enjoyed it - starters to dessert. This should be your day job!

I enjoyed it. Nice job of conveying the emotions involved. Bummer it ended on a sour note but not all stories are meant to have happy endings.
