I believe you've got the idea. These both seemed like real people to me. The hard part (no pun intended) about describing sex acts is that the sensations afforded by the actions cannot be portrayed except in what appear to be terms of hyperbole. It seems people were different back then. I didn't go on active duty until 1964. In addition to bus and train, we did hitch hike. New York state was 18 drinking age I think until the 70s.
