chaise-longue - is still french - but then nobody uses it in France anymore, if ever - in french you'd be speaking about a "recamière" or "meridienne", maybe a "divan"
Thank you both for your input. The edited text has finally been published. As it turns out, "chaise-lounge" is a possible, but less common, spelling when used in English. (Only chaise-longue is correct in French, of course.)
