"So when's Derek coming back?" He asked as he picked at the cheese.

"Late tonight or tomorrow morning, he's not sure yet. Depends on when his buddy gets home."

"I thought he was leaving tomorrow and staying the weekend."

"That plan went out the window, his friend has to leave tomorrow so he had to change plans."

They all made small talk as they ate their salads, and the girls were quickly making short work of their first bottle of wine. Andrea tilted back her glass then got up grabbing the empty bottle and grabbed another and handed it to Joel.
