It constantly amazes me how well balanced this story is. I still think the way we hear both sides of the story is a brilliant idea. Especially the way you use it to show how they do not experience exactly the same - and it so very well executed. But I also feel the need to comment on the balance between romance and sex in the story. It is wonderful to read a story that one moment is heartbreakingly beautiful and romantic and the next moment is steaming hot and sexy. It is breathtaking how these two sides do not subtract from each other but rather amalgamates into something that feels like a stormy romance between real people. Nothing like another bad, huge revelation and total lack of confidence in yourself, your mate and your relationship to find the chink in your armour and undermine everything.

These lovers are definitely walking on eggshells, and I keep waiting for Joel to find out that Dev has been erasing his messages from Eric. It's not going to be good.
