Tragically, we will never know what level of excellence Josephus would have achieved as an author. Perhaps there is a parallel universe in which he lived and developed his skills to rheir full measure. I surely hope so.

“It talked about how much better and easier it was on the children if one parent died instead of losing one to a divorce.”

Which is why the only correct response to the events in this story is for the slut to die. He’s an auto mechanic. Several ways to remove her as a problem, and some of them don’t even risk harming others!

It was a collaborative success with a positive ending for Jonathan and family. The crucible of doubt and stress that Susan put him through was balanced by the attempted wake up call by Lauren and Rich. This ending was satisfying. Great job

Nice ending to those other pieces. This is nice work you have put up, I was glad to read it and learn just a bit about you, I think, in the process, especially with the end note you included.

Sorry to have lost you, 17 years ago. If your writing is any indication, your family and friends lost a treasure.

Have any of you fools read the author's bio? He was killed in an automobile accident in 2007, and a friend updated his bio in 2017. Please read it--the entire thing.

-

So, don't be an idiot and name-call or piss all over a man whose life was cut tragically short at 25. He left behind a wife who was an Afghanistan veteran of the Marine Corps.

-

Consider that tragedy, as you whine, cry, and moan about a FREE story. Know too, that any number of these writers have departed this sad vale, and what you think, say, or write about them only diminishes YOU. Now, get a life while you still enjoy that incredible gift.

AnonymousAnonymous7 months ago

Here's the sentence that sums up this incredible story: \\\You didn't give him emotional support, and instead of getting a part-time job so he wasn't working himself to death to give you the comfortable life you wanted, you took a lover so you could give to another what you weren't willing to give to Jonathan./// It separates women's rights from the highly toxic chemical that is modern American feminism.

-

Not sure if OP is an attorney or a Jedi, but everything feels authentic, gritty, and familiar. As a family law attorney of many years, this story resonates with me, and it should resonate with the reader, too. In fact, this story should be required reading before a marriage license is issued in the Great State of Texas. Booo-yah! Five Stars!

Ruttweller, I love your put down of the cowardly 'Anon.' aren't they all, I hate them. How can they be allowed to sometimes destroy an author's life, hiding like they do, behind a mask, why does Literotica allow them. I didn't mark the story, it just wasn't for me. I believe the author is deceased, so can't come back with a defence of anything negative that I say.

@Anony_08/18/23

I assume you're talking about me? You believe I am a "total self-entitled narcissistic homo..."

Self-entitled? I claim no titles. I comment, as do you. I registered on the site several years ago, so I am certainly more courageous than YOU, who hide behind the anonymous label. You can look at my other comments, and hate those. You're just another anony.

Narcissistic? Where do you get that? Do you know what a narcissist is? I don't think so. I don't think I'm all that important. I'm just a guy from the West Coast. I may be smarter than you, but that's probably it. Donald Trump is a narcissist. He puts his name on everything. He has spent his life trying to be important. He is becoming merely impotent.

Homo? Sorry, big fan of the pussy here. Love 'em. Can't get enough of them. THAT has gotten me into sooo much trouble in my life. I love to see them in any state, resting and in action. If I did lean in that other direction, I could always read Gay Male, which I don't. Not that I'm judging, mind you.

You say I'm an idiot and a coward, and live in my mom's basement? I know for certain that I'm smarter than you, so that makes you...what? Can you guess?

Coward? I put my handle up on my comments. You?

Basement? I own my own home in Southern California. We don't have basements. My mom is no longer living. She also never owned a basement, so...

These great male virtues you speak of, that I presumably know nothing of, courage, valor, self-respect and honor.

We have already dealt with your "courage", so on to "valor". That's something mainly found on the battlefield, not found arguing on a smutty website. So fuck you.

"Self-respect". That's important. One needs that every day. You can't face the World adequately without it. I can't prove I have it, but here I am, defending myself, and not hiding behind "anonymous".

"Honor" You're looking for honor on a jerk-off website? As in masturbation and stroke-fantasies? Wow, are you setting your sights low.

If you're serious about "courage, valor, self-respect and honor", they why don't you go volunteer in a place and situation where those virtues matter, instead of complaining on a whack-off website.

AnonymousAnonymous9 months ago

Miss you, Joe.

This clown below is a total self-entitled narcissistic homo, who doesn't know a God darn thing about any male virtues : courage, valor, self-respect, or honor . His comments on other stories show he is a idiot and a coward and only leaves his moms basement for dinner, his proudest possessions are his participation trophies from junior high.

Too preachy, combined with unbelievable characters.

If I had wanted a lesson in morality, I could have picked up any number of books, or gone to many other websites.

Plus, the ridiculousness of the suicide element. He has kids, he wouldn’t turn to blowing his brains out, and if he did, he’s not the same character. And the complete about-face of the Rich character seems ridiculous in comparison to the original. Everyone around Susan suddenly is or becomes paragons of propriety. Except Susan.

It was just too obviously moralistic and out of place to be enjoyable. It’s as weird as reading a gang-bang story in the book of Samuel.

AnonymousAnonymous12 months ago

It's good to read a story where the father actually fights for his children, and does what he can to minimize the influence that the cheating partner has in their lives.

inka2222inka222212 months ago

Heh. Just to balance, I liked the moralizing and NOT the drama.

I gave this 4 stars instead of 5, because the piece of shit ex didn't get her just desserts. Yes, I can see all the arguments why Jonathan didn't burn her to the ground. BUT... the author could have karmically punished her his own way, without dirtying Jonathan's hands, mind or morals. That's why he's the work's creator, he has choices.

AnonymousAnonymousabout 1 year ago

That was a slog. Just too unrealistic to have any merit. I think the author was trying to do a lot of moralizing to the readers and it detracted from the drama. The dialog dissolved into a boring repetitiveness.

Best alternate ending of an original.story that was quite pedestrian and unrealistic. Thr four year twist was interesting. So was Mark and (especially) Laura. The collaborative process was intriguing. Susan bringing the diary into the whole thing was a twist (of her selfish stupidity). Was also refreshing at some levels to see Rich drop her ass based on moral reasons so he good get his soul back. Susan is the prototype for the "me me me" spouse. Kids were good too. Cindy saving her father with the bullets taken out was quite captivating. Spouses threatened with divorce should always speak to their own attorney. It is (usually) never as bad as thenother party threatens it will be. Kids are better raised with divorced parents than thr parents "toughing" it out in a broken homr with their parents despising each other. Susan was delusional and really self-centered. Like how her latest wedding is like number four in 9 years (three as a bridesmaid and at least once as a flower girl for poor Nancy). Well written. Thr bsse storybline from the original author sucked.

Laura's rant to Susan was pretty much my feelings not just about Susan but Nici as well. I try not to shit on authors (try not always successful mind you) but the story that started these sequels was seriously out there.and that's being kind. There are a few other stories on here that attempt to pull the same shit. Its an agenda that boils down to this: the husband will provide for all financial and emotional support while simultaneously ceding all power and decision making to the wife. She doesn't have to reciprocate unless she decides so to do. The marriage may or may not be open but if so it will only be partially open because the husband must be completely available to the wife and family at all times. Therefore the wife may have lovers but he may not. This would not be cheating mind you, he supports completely. Whether the husband is granted sex is only a priority if the wife desires it so. If the husband is humiliated then well, his love is supposed to be all encompassing.

That is the agenda with the original. Its been repeated very recently and once again a lot of sequels.

Josephus, sorry you are no longer with us. You did a fantastic job. This feminist is with you 100%

Anyway.....

...Taking a break from Trump fans and their cheerleading of fascism (Seriously do any of you people watch anything that isn't Fucks News?), this was a 5 star story.

It wasn't the greatest, the most awsome like you would not believe or even the best ever. But it was well written and it was totally UNIQUE. It was unique because it turned the sociopathic, FemiNazi train wreck of NICI's story into something that actually made sense. It unravelled the weak justifcations and broken logic and exposed them for what they were, the selfish, innane ramblings of a willful, unrepentant slut wife. She is exposed as a very stable genuis.

It was unique because Joesephus gave us an asshole cheater that wasn't a cunning wife hunting serial predator, just a weak, pathetic man, a guy that wasn't using depression as a ploy just to gain her sympathy and spread her legs (this bitch just decided to make herself available to him), and an adulterer who manned up in the end, accepted his wrongdoing and regretted shitting on a good and decent man, even if Rich's idea of compensation seems a bit ill conceived. And lastly, Joesephus gave us a legal representative that had the moral decency to be outraged and disgusted with the evil, demented thinking of her client.

It deserves 5* for these things alone. It is a shame things like these so rarely occur in LW.

I agree with anon 03/13/17

since this is taking on a liberal, conservative theme, let me ask a few questions. When Obama won, did the conservatives riot , and destroy private and public property , did they oppose free speech, were any of their marches uncivil, did they break window assault police, have Hollywood types dream about burning the white house? hmm! I don't remember but I think I remember liberals doing such things under the gist of free speech. Since when is burning, destroying property, and rioting free speech. That is just the tip of the ice berg of things you do, your politicians are even worse, they lie steal and conspire with evil sources to achieve their agenda. sure an glad I'm not one of you. I remember the old days, if we weren't happy with the out come , we waited for the next election, I gees we were more civilized back then. That was a long one to read

Not that it was long, there was just too much to it.

The author wrote:

"I hate it when I hear that asshole Rush talks about liberals not caring about results but only about intentions. I hate it when he says that liberals are more concerned about the reasons for an act someone does that what the act is."

Rush is absolutely 100% correct. To liberals intentions are everything. Results mean little except as a club to beat others who don't agree, over the head. They are more concerned about reasons for an act, hence the way libs lose interest in a act. A great example would be the Indians and all the Leftists who demonstrated with them against the Key pipeline. Did anyone see the garbage and damage they left behind in oil burning vehicles? It cost taxpayers millions to clean it up. Liberals had no interest in it.

Michael Savage said it best. "Liberalism is a mental disorder."

Truer words were never spoken.

There's so many inaccuracies is this story, I gave up halfway thru the first page. I am coming to detest these 'Take over someone else's story' stories.

That said, this one could make me change my mind. It was not the all abut revenge or wimps. And I agree with the other comment about the lawyer's lecture to the wife. I did think that the 'other man' was a bit of an ass. He was a major cause of the grief and while he admitted being an ass and offered to help fix things financially, he simply blamed the wife where he should have apologized to her for misleading her as well.

A poignant ending to a horrific story about a self-centered woman. Although the collaborative process you portray sounds reasonable, more often than not when two people are divorcing emotions are running high and the desire to "win" the proceedings takes precedence over doing the right thing for all involved. This was a truly heartwarming story where the good guy actually wins in the Divorce. At least as much as anyone can win. Shame there is no Laura to have such a frank conversation with some of their clients in real life. How many of us have wanted to tell some disillusioned someone how the cow ate the cabbage. It is a true shame that Josephus isn't still around to carry on with what would have been a great literature career.

Very good aftermath to a very sordid tale. Again the continuation is better then the original.

What I didn't like in Nici's original Tale was that she said she wanted to create a believable Character for the Wife. But what she did was to create a raving sociopath. In the same fashion your dialogue between Laura and Susan is Pearls before Sows because you cannot talk a sociopath out of being sociopathic. Is it believable that he was married to a sociopath for 15 years and never noticed anything ? I dont know, never did that or got the T-Shirt, but while I think Nici failed in her attempt to give the 'Loving Wifes' category a Woman you can identify with, I think you caught up the loose ends as well as possible.

I have read all of the sequels I think, and no doubt this was the best... As far as Rush...the pill-popping hate monger is an ass-hole! I was raised in the forties, fifties and early sixties when most of America thought like him. The fem who wrote this piece that's so full of all the most horrid pop pyschobabble is . . short a bit in her pitiful tiny brain. Where'd u go to school anyway, the Oprah school of Dr. Phil?

The poor male character married first a totally self centered witch and the second ended up being a manipulative bitch. Y'll don't think so but read the story again and you'll see it - that's what all 'strong' fems do, even to those males like this male who is depicted as a wimpy wuss all the way through, he'd never know the 'strong fem' he married was manipulating him now would he?

So this writer, not 'author', that's too elevated to call her that - is most definitely NOT a strong fem, she IS a WANNABE.

The story was constructed very well and with lots of emotion. Some realistic, some not but that is what makes it a fictional story. Reading the comments, we found a similarity between Alvaron53's professional commentator comments & Rush's commentary - both are full of bullshit! It is amazing how idiots think alike! On a side note, it is interesting to see how Alvaron53's side-kick, "Phil" is so in-tune to the professional commentator. Another winner

Eleven highly-rated "H" stories in a row, and it's easy to see why. Keep on writing, my man!

Excellent Sequel!

You added the missing elements from the previous stories - other adult interactions in this conflict between Jonathan and Susan. Susan in the previous stories operates in her own distorted reality where she can become a wife to two men and expect that kind of relationship should be acceptable to Jonathan. In your story she gets a reality check. While the outcomes are not that credible (her lover set up Susan in her own fuck shack so she can interview future husbands?) there is very clear adult feedback that what she was doing was wrong!___________________________

Thanks for the story!_______________S_L_E_E_P_L_E_S_S_I_M_D
