I was looking for a high rated "First Time" story, and at first it just seemes silly, but the "I can't have a boyfriend mystery" and the character development hooked me, and at the end I waa weeping.

My first reaction to Nico was, I’m in love. I expected at the least an understanding between them at the end and a promise that they would work it out. Then when she said because I’m dead - suicide. My sister in-law had glioblastoma cancer and passed 11 years ago and now I am in shock and tears and do not know what to say. To write a story like this you must also have lost somebody to this cancer. Extremely well written and in my all time top 3 on this site

This is the first time I've ever felt that I absolutely had to leave a comment on a story. Bravo and thank you, what an amazingly beautiful story. You slowly built up the tension while also creating an engaging narrative that by the time the actual first time occurred it was far less exciting than the long awaited sex between the main characters. The ending was absolutely heartbreaking but so real. Again thank you.

This actually hurt me. I come here because I genuinely love to read and a good story just touches me. Obviously the nature of these is also a benefit but this? This was something different. What a touching love story. So much is missed in life. Lgreenwood you have a gift, painfully aware of how deep the thoughts go. I cried at the end, knowing Thomas and Kelly would end up together was my only saving grace. I'm not good with words. I'm an empathe feeling lives deeply is not ready for me. This story is not in my top 3 on this site, it is without doubt THE best. It is one of the best stories I have ever read and I was an English major. It has stayed with me since first reading and commenting and I have re-read it about 10 times and it never fails to astound me. I especially liked how Nico ‘tasted like fall’ and Kelly ‘tasted like spring’ - that contrast alone should have alerted us to what was about to happen. If I had one wish it would be that the author do a prequel of Nicole right before and after her diagnosis. Thank you again for such a beautiful but gut-wrenching story. Oh and, glioblastoma tumor, not cancer. I was commenting from emotion not reason.

I came here to beat my dick, and now I’ve become emotionally connected to characters. I felt genuinely sad when I heard about Nico. Like it’s a story you’d read from a book. Honestly just sad now. I’m glad you kind of had a coming of age story, and glad to hear the Nico genuinely cared. I don’t know this story really grabbed me. I feel happy you’ve found someone, but I can’t help but feel a pang of sadness knowing that Nico never had a real chance with you and was trying to help and love you in her own way. Fucking hell. I’m so spent right now... both physically and emotionally.

I have read a lot of stories on this site and not very many have been engraved in my memory like this one. I have gone back and re-read the stories I really liked and I have re re-read the last two pages of this story and each time it still touches me deeply. Even though it is supposedly fiction my heart breaks for Nico. Or maybe it breaks for all of those cancer patients who go through unspeakable pain in their loosing battle with that unrelenting terror.

I stood hand in hand with my wife who had to go through the pain of breast cancer. And thank God she was able to survive it. I prayed for her day after day that God would spare her. And I still have her with me. No one ever knows what they really have until they are about to loose it or have lost it. I wish I could have been there to hold her, kiss Nico, tell her I loved her and said Good Bye to her before she died. MM

I love First time stories, but this is great. I knew a person with that form of tumor. They tried surgery, but it didn't work. So it hit me really emotionally.

So sad... And as the story is written as if there were an autobiographical element to it, even sadder! Yet, very well written and I don't regret having read it, full five stars. Your story was touched many issues of sexuality, the physical, emotional, spiritual, and societal norms. It is a unique insight into our thoughts and it reflects a lot of real life behaviors. As a man I have developed an understanding of empathy from a wide variety of things from a wide variety of reasons, most that a family of females 5 daughters 4 mother in laws ,2 step daughters, 2 wifes ,and the collection of groups that follows them. All the different emotional aspects. Females to create, share, and want an emotional relationships. That is normal, it is not that quite the way men bond with men. All that said. The story very clearly sexy, it reflected some of my early self, and how I felt, no experience, no guidance, and more of an introvert unable to socialize. First marriage wasn't a marriage for love more like I was the father, yet I did want to be married. I lasted 4 years, and 2 girls. And I had a lot of sex with ex wife over the years and her 6 marriages. Aside from my 6 years of being single, then meet a divorced woman with 2 girls who had close ties to mother and mother in law and her large family of females. Was completely surrounded by females and all types of personalities. Being a father I learned to entertain my children with stories and began to make up stories, I saw their responses to the questions, the more emotion I put in the story the more they wanted me to tell them stories. The women would set there and listen just like kids and the fathers loved it to. It was a real learning experience for me and became very empathic with my feelings. Lots of women would ask me why men do what they do. I felt for them. Yet I realized that they were becoming interested in me. To be a bit truthful I had plenty of sex my wife and a few other women. I was an avg guy, very fit and masculine. I learned early when flirting was use your eyes and your slight smile of approval then look into their eyes for a slight second. If you let them know your thoughts and feelings when you did that. It's like saying I think you are a beautiful woman and I am interested talking and getting to know you.

I truly feel for females and their needs it very hard for them to have one night stands, getting her pussy eaten while she is driving, go to an abs get or give head or watch porn rub one out and leave.

Your story had me crying and spilling out love and sorrow at a soulful point of the story. Superbly written.

Dammit to hell! My emotions are raw after this story and I have two wet shirts from tears dripping (starters last night and finished this morning). My first thought as I began reading the story was Nico was grooming him for femdom activities. As it progressed I knew it was not quite that but could not get the nagging doubts as to meaning of Nicos actions. The pimping out story line was masterful in not being over the top but still having meaning.

Darn my screen closed out as I was mid sentence In thought and apparently posted. I am thus finishing up. I did like the pimp out line and how it was handled. At the end it made sense. Nico’s love was tremendous as she sacrificed her self to give him a chance at a fulfilled life even with all his social inadequacies and handicaps. Such a level of live few of us ever receive,Thomas was lucky to have been found and loved by her. Kelly was lucky to know her also.
