Welcome back. I hope your family issues worked out OK. This chapter was a major change in direction. It moved from a willing cuckold story to a open marriage story. First we have Peggy spending a considerable amount of time loving her husband. Previously it seemed like lip service and unromantic. "I simply 'love' my car." This feels more real. <br><br>

Then Silver pops up again and her phone conversation with him seems to be setting off in the previous direction. Peggy is a VERY self absorbed woman. She ignores her husband completely when talking while only minutes before she was all lovey. <br><br>

But then we get the dinner. It seems that Silver is an OK guy. He wants time with Peggy but arranges for very pleasurable company for Porter. This is an open marriage arrangement. Everybody goes off for a good time. But the following day Peggy returns home expecting a dutiful and exhausted Porter to be waiting for her. But he's not there! Porter spoiled Peggy in the past but now he has done exactly as Peggy has, he focuses on the partners he is with to the exclusion of his wife. That's quite a wakeup call to the self centered and pampered Peggy. Cool. <br><br>

This chapter was much more in line with your opening description of the story as "happily married couple with all of the hallmarks of a successful marriage wherein the wife takes another man as lover" Porter is now treated far more equally and is happy. Peggy is self absorbed but is beginning to realize she has been a bit stupid. I think your intent has been to create a loving relationship with some unusual characteristics. This chapter gets much closer to that goal. The writing is nicely done.

Glad to see to back on track with this story. Hopefully you'll be able to take it to its conclusion without any more long delays.

I was happy to see that you've done something to make the situation between Peggy and Silver more palatable for Porter. What else do you have planned? I suspect we'll see Porter and Raphael get it on in some sort of menage one day...

Maybe you can pull this off. I was hoping Porter would kick Peggy to the curb and get on with life as Peggy wasn't showing any real love or concern for Porter, rather she was scheming to get her way in spite of Porter's misgivings. But, perhaps, just perhaps, you might be able to pull off a reconciliation between the two, if in fact they can agree that THEIR relationship is more important then their affairs...guess we'll have to wait and see.

Of course, her professions of love to Silver have to mean that her feeling of love for Porter are on the decrease...after all, you can't love two men completely, somethings gotta give.
