Death is a separation that often has those left behind longing for their beloved. When my family member died, I was experiencing the longing for someone who had left me. As I drove the 10 hours back home following the funeral, I was full of emotions and created this poem as I reflected on these 2 griefs I had in my heart and how they shared so much.
