Hottest July
white, dense haze
baddest guy
quiet gaze

Old, classy style
charm and seduce
beautiful smile
devil let loose

Dangerous games
bottle of booze
got those St James
infirmary blues

Deep, tragic stare
love binding word
countryside air
'65 Thunderbird

Radio out loud
puffing gray smoke
spell your love out
symphonic provoke

Later that day
red sky, tall shadows
stopped in the meadows
"I want you to stay"

"No need to speak,
our gaze will do"
you think I'm a freak
and I think so too
