A great metaphor used to explain self induced sophism. Painfully written and a wonderful look into how another sees themselves.. I felt this poem to my quick... a wonderful write..

Heartbreaking.

As one who's been serenaded by a siren, only to be dashed upon the rocks, this poem really struck a chord. My siren is a guy, but I'd like to think that he might be feeling the anguish and regret laced throughout your beautiful piece. Thank you for a wonderful read. LJ

Pain infliction is so easy

It's what most folks do best ~

All you need do is be stupid

Keep the brain as mush

And let all feelings be crushed...

Beautifully written.

Unable to be what the love of her life wishes her to be ~ she waits on the shores of Nevermore.
