Everyone says, you're as happy as can be
That just shows, they don't really know me
We're all happy, in our own way
Or least that's the way i feel & what i say
But when you're single, there's a little something gone
It's something that only you, can feel to the bone
A need inside, to take that mental flight once more
To have someone greet you, when you glide inside your door
Just to hear "how was your day", and give a big hug & kiss
That is like sweet nectar, and what i really miss
Yeah I'm happy and ecstatic, and i always will be
Or at least that's the part of me,that you shall see

A technical note

I find your poetry somewhat difficult to read on screen, and I wonder if this is because you choose not to break it into stanzas. Consider separating the lines a bit -- it might make it easier to read.

Keep writing.
