Another day is dying
Why is she still crying?

A look into her past
At where sorrow first was cast.

Although it often hides
A permanent scar there resides.

Duct tape, glue and paste
The pain never fully erased.

Carry on, smile, deflect
Refuse any other reject.

In the morning sun’s delight
Pretend everything is alright.

But when the sun is dying
It’s ok to go on crying.
