In that space, that breath of time
between us
exhale
inhale
there is a sizzle to the air

we give up our fears
every small nagging thought
I want to forget

a rising desire to give
inhale
exhale
dizzy from the deepest kisses

we lose our way down paths of lust
your grip on my thighs
my body shivers and arches

caught in your eyes, in my dreams, in our haze

my voice wavers and hitches
your hips against mine
we find our joy in waves and bursts

giddy from the deepest touches
exhale
inhale
a pure pleasure to receive

I want to remember
every hot breathy word
we share in our passion

all that exists is our contact
inhale
exhale
beyond us
no world, no sprawl of life

Always a pleasure reading your work, Zan. This was amazing!

Took a second read to see the double-meaning of in-/exhale, the intimacy of the close contact obvious at the first but deepening with each read, putting more details into the mental image.

Took a moment to realise the structure, taking a step backwards helped (zooming out too).

Thanks for taking the time to translate that moment into words.
