You have suffered some real sadness to write in this vein - a story and two poems, all extremely moving with sadness. I hope this was not based too much on real fact.

Not doubting the real pain expressed here, for some men can be really low. Yet some women can love in such a hateful way {yes, there is such a thing} that love dies a slow lingering death and at the end, she stands surprised, claiming to still carry that love, when all it is was a fear of loss.
