This

stanza is great:

'as the smell of all life

fills my lungs and floats

my brain beyond my skull.'

as is the rest of the poem. I loved the earthy, primeval imagery; it created such a raw atmosphere in the poem.

Great read, mentioned in today's new poem reviews
