I know how it feels, but a little bondo goes a long way. Sigh.
a couple of misplaced apostrophe's don't detract (for me) from the warmth, understanding and gentle frustration you manage to convey using that knack you own for easy styling.... family, loved ones, try to protect where sometimes it's unnecessary but they mean well, and the voice of this piece is, overall, a loving one even if offered with a slightly sad smile.
faith in the mechanic has to be earned
favourite lines? all of the first part, '' that chassis that you're dragging around/ has more dents than car 8'', and ''and I don't know why they're so worried about my ride;/ perhaps it's their pride in the old antique,/ worry that repairs may be too costly,/ afraid the mechanic will do more harm than good''
