Logs alight illuminate our lair, Doesn't really qualify as relief. A pattern should lead to something, not a different pattern. You should look at some old English, Norse, or Modern Welsh poetry, looks like you'd have fun with it.

It reminded me of a traditional form of poetry, the name of which escapes me, that relies on alliteration as key to its form. I think it has something to do with Beowulf, but I might be wrong. My only prob with it is the fourth/fifth lines. I think they should be one in keeping with the rest of the work. I'm giving it a recommend.
