I'm not sure where the time went.
Yesterday was running about when suddenly
Immediate overtook its play,
Today took the scene, and tomorrow
Stalks the wings with impending
Uncertainty. Someone told me
Life is fleeting, a meeting of breath-turned-vapor
On pristine glass.
Ego aside, my pride regrets to be informed
I barely left a mark... And the one I did leave
Is easily wiped away.
And today...
I'm not sure where the time went.
I doubt even tomorrow knows.
For now I've only tonight's cusp transition.

Life is fleeting, a meeting of breath-turned-vapor

On pristine glass. I adore this line.
