Please tell me what you think, but take into account this is my first submission to Literotica.
This is not an erotic poem but an emotional one about a young woman I work with.

When I look into your eyes
I have to tell myself lies,

I cannot let
these feelings for you exist
yet when I am near you
the desire is hard to resist

From your beautiful face
to your long golden hair,
I could fall in love with you
if only I let my heart dare.

But I am married
and much too old,
to tell you I love you
and want you to hold.

So these forbidden desires
will stay locked in my heart,
My love for you
was doomed from the start.

So if you see me
and I turn away,
It's only so my heart
doesn't give the truth away.

The imagery of the last stanza is perfect.

needs some work but a good start

rhyming couplets take time to write and can easily slip towards doggerel if you are not careful with scansion and content
