Nothing ever lasts
Not life, nor love, or happiness
So elusive
Hard to catch
Especially the latter two
No way to hold them
Even if you do
Here one minute
Gone the next
More misery is caused
In the search for
Than they solve
Why on earth
Do we waste
So much of our time
In the futile quest of
Illusions

Good stuff

I enjoyed this because of its philosophical note and its depth of irony. Thank you for sharing. :)
