I'm addicted
To the excitement
When I know your on your way
Wondering if you think of me
On any given day

I'm addicted
To memories
And all that once was
To your plentiful honey
And your rhythmic buzz

I'm addicted
To the involuntary response
creating the pitter pats in my chest
And you take off again
Probably for the best

I'm addicted
Lonely
And I want to beg you to stay
I've got it bad
In a sad and desperate way

I'm so addicted
Starving and blue
Looking for any crumb I can get
Of my old life with you

I'm so addicted
I can't shake you free
From your sex
That has a hold on me
