My loving heart beats strong in rosy red.
My blood-red blood flows swiftly through my veins;
my cells, my bones, my body being fed,
kept warm through all four seasons, shine or rain.

My blood, more red than all the trees of Fall,
it makes my body beautiful and true.
I'll make your sons and daughters strong and tall,
my blood and body are my gift to you.

As Luna's heavenly cycle proceeds,
your feelings toward my gender now appear.
My bloody function marks me and impedes
your willingness to view me as your peer.

'Neath cold and bitter late Autumnal skies,
I bleed for you yet I'm what you despise.

So heartbreakingly true for too many.

This is beautiful, wrenching, heartbreaking. No one should have to suffer this much pain at the hands of others.
