Darkness descends
And the fighting begins
My frustration growing second-by-second

Your hands are on me
But I just want to flee
My heart pounding in time to my fury

We scream and we shout
I am drenched in self-doubt
My god, how can you not hear me?

I am utterly invisible
When I should feel Invincible
Where did it all go so wrong?

My voice goes unheard
No matter the words
Please grant me one moment of peace

Thanks for sharing those feelings. I’d say get away from anyone who makes you feel that way. I know though that sometimes it’s worth it just to feel.

One moment of peace

Sounds like cry of the victim of a narcissistic child. A heartfelt statement at least.
