Magic walks away, never to return.
Well, my brethren, there's something you should learn:
Never take for granted a gift from God,
He who can turn a palace into sod.
"Working like a charm," can be said no more
As Magic waved "Goodbye" and shut the door.
The dream died. It's time to get serious.
No more joy in being delirious.

The Sky is gray and won't be dreamt away.
There is hell to pay, and it's here to stay.
The Collector comes and calls you Outside.
You have no place to run, no place to hide.

Look around. Face the Day. Face your new Life.
Face the music that cuts you like a knife.
You try to get some sleep, but not a chance.
The rhythm's got you, and you're going to dance.

There's no rest for the wicked; now you know.
A voice in the head says, "I told you so."
