All Comments on 'Lost'

I am often afraid - not afraid, cautious - about sharing my interpretation of poems. I'm going to risk that here. The title could have easily been 'Loss' - because the pain is still active. This poem makes me wonder how parents deal with the loss of children, and makes me understand how that loss can be frozen into their current reality. Tears have the ability to evaporate - when at room temperature.
