Nude, we lay in the sun-drenched grass; I lay beside my lover, my friend, my life — My Helen.
*
Tall as a Sequoia, stronger than the Pillars of Hercules, gentler than a baby’s laugh — My Helen.
*
Temper like the summer gale, drenching rain, driving winds, lightning’s terror bringer — My Helen.
*
Passionate thunder to shake, crack, and crumble Earth; brave men tremble, women wail — My Helen!
*
Swiftly come, swifter gone, leaving only blue skies and gentle breezes, Eden’s shores — My Helen.
*
Gentle kisses on forgotten wounds, softer words of love and sorrow for storm spent — My Helen.
*
Desires rekindled, hunger stoked, our needs growing, our love reborn, in eternal orbit — My Helen.
*
Our bodies one, our fingers meshed, release of love and yearning, we live and love again — My Helen!
*
After another storm subsides, thirst slaked, sleep takes us, we lay upon the grass, me, and — My Helen.

Gorgeous! Helen is clearly a very lucky girl! I am so envious of you both!

Thank you 29, I was going for that feel. Helen is a mix of so many things, passion, love, fire and ice. All mixed perfectly for me. Again, thank you. xxx

I liked the many contrasts of strength and vulnerability. It, very feet-on-the-ground, describes a beloved human being, not an out-of-reach goddess. Thanks for sharing.
