Beneath a blanket of understanding-
Like two children with a flashlight
We seek out eachother’s hands
All the fear and the doubt in me, love-
It may be far from easy that I may open to you
But open I will, display myself for you to see
For you I never have to ask
I am no less a figment of my imagination,
Than you are a lie spoken to my heart
The sex that we share is also an act of trust
A blessing upon the altar you helped me establish
I told you my secret, but you did not stray
In this soft, sensual embrace, we easily drift into bliss
For this I thank you; teaching me to let go
My girl, I hold nothing more treasured than this.
