An unrequited love, so sad with pain so deep.

Hate to admit it but this resonates all too well. Aptly titled, there's nothing more poignant than a love that is never acknowledged ~ it's a pain that never really abates.

To love so deeply and unconditionally and yet to never have that love returned or even acknowledged; pain that cuts to the core...'but we can still be friends.' Patricia

But there is a cure that overcomes all that pain---that's when you find a love of your own that's a friend as well.
