Age old problem

best answered with these questions

Can a soft trumpet

Cover a low moan?

If we match the rhythm

Will they be able to tell?

nice word flow, nice vignette, nice finish

author seems to be moving into different territory, and I am impressed with his growth, so I leave it up to him to discover the areas that could be improved

for now a well earned 100

simply interesting and rife with imagery and longing, and the low soft laughter of all of us who've been there. The miles davis part gives this poem a smooth slow sexy feeling that wouldn't have been there without that particular reference, I think.

been there

so perhaps I'm biased

I liked it a lot

and yeah..the miles davis part gave a whole other dimension to this

Nice work

quietly, simply wonderful.

Lostandfounder.

How nice and peaceful this poem is, just a daily glimpse, no judgments or twists or analysis, just a moment. I like this poem very much. In only a few lines, you have perfectly captured a mood and a moment. Congratulations.
