YOU SHALL NOT PASS

all alone, you call my name with a finger
in your frame where the paint drips…

your legs drawn up like rabbit ears
your rational mind in a receding dress

in soft mindful footfalls you enter my room
entering me in, knowing this

I will bite you
on your soft white under pillow.

I love the alliteration and consonance as poetic elements. I really like your unique word choice and imagery.
