A tactile poem

I could feel its slippery form in my grip as I read-- quite an achievement, JD4G. I was waiting for a pygmalion reference from you!

"Mould": a nod to your Canadian neighbors?

Poet as God!

Your poem roams over a lot of territory, but you have fine control and it works--as with most of what I read by you--really really well. lol.

And I vote for "tectonic raptures" as phrase of the day? week? month? I dunno. I really like it. :)

wow.

this is wonderfully in control and out-of-control at the same time / so many great lines /

this:

drawing the world out of primordial mass

like the cosmos coaxing sin

and:

the embryo flowed beneath my thumbs

gaining symmetry as mountains disappeared

and chasms bubbled magma

mass moving in tectonic rapture

and:

clavicles spreading in galactic mist

like Eve opening her thighs

awaiting the placement of the rib

that last image is outrageously great.
