Backed up into an alley cornered
Having to choose between the colors brave
Or red that runs

A knack for calm disorder
All that we have is left dumped at the intersecting streets
Of Love and None

Vultures circling, hovered
Drumbeats repeating over this celebratory dance festival
We live then die

Seeds of freedom needing watered
Competing against broken history our folly 2 state
We even tried

This moves me in an indescribable, deep, visceral way. Each image deliberate, gutting, stark. Beautiful in its dark. My eyes, having read and read yet again, now wet. Let us ever stay in the light.
