Sack..
this is just wonderful. You are a master of moments, taking your reader into the time. For a split second I was standing in the churchyard with the wind whippig the leaves around me. True grace...
Du Lac
great imagery. my favorite time of the day, has inspired many poems for me too. well done. makes me want to visit a place that has almond trees in twilight
AWESOME SACK...imagery was wonderful...felt like I was there...well almost but yep...goodstuff, and I like almonds...<grin>
but relies too much on the reader's own experience and not your metaphorical representation of the setting, IMHO. Were the leaves shimmering like foil in firelight? the river glimmering like facets on finely cut diamonds..? try to be more precise...the base is solid..
Great imaginary! This was wonderful! You really did a great job. Thanks for the read.
Twilight when shadows come stealing ~ the wind blowing through the leaves of Fall is a magic time of the day. The imagery in this rendering is so beautiful and appropriate.
