Hello everyone! As always, please comment what you think of this poem, as all feedback is welcome and encouraged. I have tried to edit this poem to the best of my ability, but if there are any mistakes I apologize. Also, I have another poem on Literotica entitled, "My Love". If you like this one, feel free to read that one as well if you like. Without further ado, I present, "Ocean in Motion".

I suppose I must mind
That I now have to find
The love I gave
That washed away like a wave.
I recall how the sand
Ran through my hand
And how your kiss
Gave me much bliss
In that moment
Of brief time.
When you whispered
You would never
Forsake me,
I looked at your face
And fell in the spell
Of love's embrace.
I would have never
Imagined that I
Would awake to
Such an unfortunate
State of heartache.
When you died
I very much tried
Not to cry,
But I felt my
Tears roll down my face
And it showed my
Fearful fate
Of living without you.
My old love,
Even though you
Aren't with me,
I still let my mind flee,
Back to the place
Where I still
Clearly see your face
and listen to the
Ocean in motion.

Lucky_Poundover 4 years agoGood job keeping up with the poetry, you have been doing well, it seems, with all your literature. So I hope you keep on keeping on with all your poems. If I were to make a critique, I would have to say that you might want to make each phrase
a little longer. However that is more based on my taste and such opinions that anything truly necessary. I would definitely say with the way it is structured and flows that it has a very powerful impact.So please keep making literature for you inspire me to keep making more. So without a further ado, Thank You.
