I was reading an article about men who cheat and what their wives
have to say about it... So after some consideration, I wrote the following poem.
I met him in a barroom.
I let him kiss me there.
We were both excited.
Almost more than we could bear.
We went to his apartment
it was there that we made love.
Being in his arms was like heaven above.
Many times we were together.
I fell really hard for him.
I wanted no one else
Only to be with Jim.
He told me he was married
but that he loved me so.
I said that I didn't care that
I never wanted him to go.
Now I am the other woman.
I so need him in my life.
I will always be the other woman
but I will never be his wife.
