I love this:

with the roll-up face

and moon rock eyes

and hair of lace

This belongs somewhere that lots of people can see it.

"The Peppermint Man" that you have created, {with a very few age sensitive word changes}, could be the next Grimm -like tale I read to My grandchildren on their next visit. You have a very unique talent for this field of writing and I, for one, sincerely hope you continue in it. An excellent write - probably My favorite of the day.
